Food was good. Went during rush hour but service was still great. The price point was a little higher than your typical breakfast place.

Great diner. Friendly and hearty, good food. The mats mountain is awesome. Just show up honey and they do all the rest.

Their food is amazing, the 50's decoration and songs create a great atmosphere. Every time I go there, I always get some awesome food recommendations from Kasumi.

I ordered Mars grand slam. The food was amazing. I loved the bacon. The fries are amazing, a little spicy but sooo good. The service was great. And the atmosphere is beautiful. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast. This was my first time coming here, but I think it became one of my favorite breakfast places right away. They have Fresh orange juice as well.

Perfect Breakfast! We shared a "Mars Mountain" : medium-cut potatoes roasted on plate, sweet vanilla pancake on top, scrambled eggs with nicely sized bacon & ham, finished with hollandaise sauce. Side of toasts. It was a perfect balance between sweet & salty, perfectly sized to share for 2 person (regular appetite) even though it's sold for one. Great smooth ambiance too!

Great food at great taste and price , has a variety of options to choose from , we hand french toast, mac and cheese with meat but we wanted it separate chef was able to do it for us , and unlimited coffee. Service was friendly recommend this and must try breakfast place

We had an amazing in this spot. We liked the amazing environment and the menu. The waiters were very personal. I’m content we finally managed to visit this spot.

Nice breakfast diner with the classic black and white floor tiles, red leather couches and delicious breakfast aroma. The staff can be clearly scene hardworking on all the meals. Took my date here for brunch, she loved it. Good prices for good portions.

My favourite brunch spot in Toronto. Staffs are nice and attentive. Price is relatively cheap compared to other restaurants. I come here usually once a week and the food is consistent.

The chicken caesar salad was good although I tasted a strange taste on the lettuce... maybe one of those things they spray on it to keep it looking fresh and firm?

One thing to note - food here is not greasy at all for a diner (bonus). The homefries here are like scalloped potato style and not your typical fries or cubed. Was not a fan of it especially since ours seemed rather burnt. Portions here are rather large but it seems ro lack something. There is a large variety of food choices and the service here is good. Average price is around $12.

This is a fancy diner. It is designed like a greasy spoon but the food is much, much better! I love this place!

Best place to eat on the block, hands down. Would recommend Cajun turkey bacon eggs Benedict.

Great place for some brunch. Their light omelette with spinach and goat cheese is soooo good! Service is always great as well. Check them out for some takeout during this time!!

Stepped out of my comfort zone today, and ordered a California Benedict - best benny I've tried by far. The service was fast, and excellent. Definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Mars is consistently stellar. The meals are inexpensive and simple, but always delicious and satisfying! Service is more than excellent, the staff is attentive and smiling. Cannot reccomend it enough! I absolutely love it here. If I could give it more than 5 starts I would without any hesitation.

The food is spectacular, everything you could ever want out of a cute diner. I come with every Sunday with a few friends. The staff are friendly, but during busy hours can be inattentive causing long wait times. Also the seating is very cramped and uncomfortable for people with winter jackets

Good restaurant with plenty of options for breakfast. Their orange juice is freshly squeezed and it's not prepackaged. Omelettes are well fried and made with 3 eggs. Service is good and staff is friendly.

The food was delicious!! I ordered the hot chocolate and their special, Banana Bread french toast - I could not have been happier! My boyfriend ordered the other special, Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict and it was so good too. Their home fries were extremely flavorful and the portion sizes were big. Overall a really great experience. Will definitely be going back!

The waitress was very friendly and pleasant. The place is clean and cosy. The turnaround time from seating to eating is reasonable. Got a 3 egg omelette, unlimited coffee, extra bacon (4 big strips) and home fries and paid with tip $23. Most impressive of all is the food wasn't overly salty (as is the case with most breakfast places, so kudos to the chef for that!). Thank you.

It's a snug diner with an ambiance that reflects the sixties. I had the Mars Corned beef hash Benedict, it was tasty and reasonably priced at $12.95. I followed it up with a slice of apple pie with caramel sauce drizzle on top, with two scoops of vanilla icecream 😋😄☕🍰

Awesome breakfasts. Amazing muffins: I get 'em by the box, and then slice 'em halfwise and fry them with butter at home. Yum.

Wait staff is friendly. Food comes quick, but keep your expectations reasonable.

This was my second time here. Great service and great food. Not sure how good the prices were, because both times my friend insisted on picking up the bill.

Service has improved. Their eggs florentine is delicious. I do miss the fruit salad on the side instead of a salad composed of various greens. I cant feel comfortable paying the price of the "fresh" fruit juice. But I'd come back.

Mars Uptown is a casual place with regular customers. It has a very friendly atmosphere where the coffee is brought to you with a smile and warm greeting.I highly recommend Mars Uptown.

I think the restaurant has changed management a little while ago, but the quality of the food and the service are unchanged and are still brilliant. Great brunch, lunch and now dinner options as well. I love the new menus with with the theme names. Highly recommended!

Honestly loved it. Went with my husband and his friend and it was such a wonderful experience. The food was great and the options were many! We were so hungry we didnt capture a photo but I ordered a philly cheese steak, which was absolutely delicious. It tasted like bbq with onion on a brioche burger bun and mozzarella cheese. That's typically what I would go for and I'm so glad I chose it. I also tried the chicken sandwhich which came with a super juicy and good sized chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, mayo on a brioche bun. Guys.. that was super delicious. I would highly recommend this place. Service is great as well. Water refills are good! Definitely give it a try ! We also had the garden salad which was nice to cut the carbs and for an extra fee, we ordered sweet potato fries which were awesome.

Classic Style Restaurant plus they have lots or orders ON line even you don't see too much people in the location they are working hard inside . I found a clean place not too expensive but is not cheap either. My portion consisted in a beef steak topped with a delicious Gravy and vegetables. I have to say it was a bit small and needed to buy a poutine to feel full ( the poutine was Not good really , sorry guys but your fries were awful ). The Staff are Nice and Gentle. It's a good option in a crowded area of the City .No Parking lot .

This little diner has a huge heart, well at least the staff do. You're greeted with a smile and happily walked thru the menu, which is extensive....only to be surpassed by the portions, which are gargantuan....bring your appetite boys and girls!!! .....have no fear, altho size matters, the quality is certainly not lost to quantity!!! I die for a good eggs bene....Yakuzi, the server, recommended one with their own marinated and slow cooked turkey instead of peameal. Hesitantly I ordered it....not only was it done to perfection (see attached photos), the taste was spectacular. Coffee, always flowing and deliciously potent. I almost forgot.....the hollandaise sauce....Mmmmmm delicious, for sure. A must if your in the neighbourhood....but only if you're hungry.

The food & traditional diner atmosphere was great, prices were reasonable and the service was outstanding. The server was very attentive to our needs and wants. If you're easy going, they will be easy going in return. I'll definitely be back!

Mars is always a good, solid choice. You know exactly what you're going to get : classic, homey diner food. And you always know it'll be done better than the rest.Mars really has made all the right choices. They've updated JUST enough to stay current (adding a few Avocado-laced veggie options, throwing in some turkey bacon, etc) while still maintaining the diner decor and feel.Note that, while prices are reasonable for the area, there is no escaping the Downtown prices, and Mars is no exception. 2.80$ for a drip coffee, even bottomless, is standard.

The food is good enough. The menu has a wide selection of fairly priced food and the wait staff is friendly. The booths at the front are a tight-squeeze but the seating at the rear is comfortable. The service is good though it can be slow if it's busy.

This place is really good! Classic diner vibes with great service. I loved the Franklin Benedict. It was very flavourful and delicious.

Great Service and Amazing Food. A clean greasy spoon ❤️ Portions enough to fill any belly! I would highly recommend. If you're lucky enough to get Kasumi as your server you definitely not be disappointed. Bright, polite, a perfect delight. Head on in for brunch, you'll be glad you did!
